Asus Transformer Pad Series Announced

Asus extends the line of tablet Transformer Pad by announcing at MWC 2012 in Barcelona the model Asus Transformer Pad Infinity (700 Series) and Asus Transformer Pad Series 300.

After the success of the tablet Transformer, with its system of dock / keyboard turning it into quasi-netbook, Asu has found a successor in the Transform Prime, which takes the concept but that is mostly the first to board a quadcore processor Tegra 3 Nvidia.

The Taiwanese group did not, however, finished with Transformer Pad and family are two new models that were announced at the MWC 2012 in Barcelona. The first is the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity (700 Series), a tablet display 10.1 “(Gorilla Glass 2) with an impressive resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (Super IPS panel +), carrying a dual core Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz (MSM8960), Qualcomm, with 1 GB of RAM and 16 to 64 GB of internal storage.

A version with Tegra processor 3 will also be offered to non-LTE markets, Asus ensuring that performance is comparable between the dual core Qualcomm and Nvidia’s quadcore. Transforming the Infinity Pad should be launched during the second quarter of 2012.
